This series consists of planning records of Hugh M. Flick, Associate Commissioner of Education and John G. Broughton, Assistant Commissioner for State Museum and Science Service (later Associate Commissioner of Cultural Education). Record types consist primarily of subject files, correspondence, memoranda, and reports. Also included are some specifications, press releases, news clippings, blueprints, and floor plans. Topics include space allocation, security, parking, shelving, and exhibits.
